Pete Naccarelli is the co-founder of CEASE: “I have been working in the table games department of the casino industry for 26 years, enduring the effects of second-hand smoke throughout my entire career. When the Covid pandemic hit, and smoking was temporarily forbidden in casinos, it was a breath of fresh air…literally! After smoking was allowed to return, a small group of casino employees formed the group CEASE (Casino Employees Against Smoking’s Effects). This small group became over 2,000 strong and we are all now fighting to get smoking banned, permanently in New Jersey casinos.”
