Jeanie Donovan is a health policy expert who has a passion for working in government to improve health outcomes, with a focus on improving health equity and social justice. Currently, Jeanie serves as the Deputy Director of the New Orleans Health Department, where she manages all policy matters across the department. Prior to this role, she worked as the Policy Director at the Louisiana Department of Health, where she oversaw the development and implementation of major public health policy initiatives for the State. She has also held roles in several nonprofit advocacy organizations and considers herself at advocate at heart. Donovan holds a Master of Public Health and a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Texas.
